Welcome to PerioNZ.org, the offical website for the New Zealand society of Periodontology, created for New Zealanders to learn more about their oral heath and in particular gum health. Periodontology is that part of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease.    

This website provides general information about gum problems such as gum diseases (gingivitis & periodontitis) as well as tooth replacement with dental implants. It also provides information about the New Zealand Society of Periodontology, its organisation and membership. The site also offers helpful advice on what kinds of treatments are available and who you should see for treatment.
